The Google Analytics Tracking Add-on was built for Caddy 1.x and 2.x. It has been discontinued in Caddy 3.0 and is no longer available or required. If you still have the add-on plugin installed from an older version, you can safely deactivate and delete it.
What replaced it
Caddy Pro 3.0 includes native conversion and cart tracking — no third-party connection needed. You get revenue attribution, conversion rates, abandonment metrics, and product-level performance directly in your WordPress admin:
- Using the Caddy analytics dashboard — revenue, conversion, and abandonment reporting.
- Tracking customer carts — live, abandoned, and captured carts.
- Understanding Caddy conversion tracking — how conversions are attributed.
Still want events in Google Analytics?
For store-wide GA4 ecommerce tracking (purchases, add-to-carts, checkouts), use Google’s official Google for WooCommerce plugin or any GA4 ecommerce integration — WooCommerce’s standard add-to-cart and purchase events cover activity that happens through the Caddy cart too, since Caddy 3.0 uses the official WooCommerce Store API for every cart operation.
