Caddy Pro lets you customize the key messages customers see in the cart. Here’s where each one lives.
Welcome / registration message
Shown to logged-out shoppers in the cart, encouraging them to create an account. Go to Caddy > Settings > Welcome Message, switch the message on, and edit the Registration text. The default is: “Join {Store Name} to save your cart, save products for later, get exclusive discounts & more!”
Recommendations headline
The heading above in-cart product recommendations defaults to “We think you might also like…”. Change it under Caddy > Settings > Recommendations > Headline. See configuring product recommendations for the rest of that section.
Rewards meter progress messages
Each tier of the rewards meter has its own progress message with an {amount} variable — e.g. “Spend {amount} more for a free gift!”. Configure these under Caddy > Settings > Rewards Meter — see setting up the multi-tier rewards meter.
Announcement bar
For promotional messaging at the top of the cart — with dynamic variables like {cart_total} and {first_name} — see adding an announcement bar to your cart.
Everything else
Other built-in strings (button labels, empty-cart text, and so on) aren’t individually editable in settings, but every string in Caddy is translatable — you can use a translation plugin to override any text, even on a single-language site. See how to translate Caddy.
